Thoughtful Foods

This is the table of results from the energy audit of Thoughtful Foods that was carried out Tuesday 21/08/07. We calculated the total amount of energy used per year to be 1408.44 kWh. There are some explanatory notes below. We'll be purchasing GreenPower certificates to cover the amount of energy we use.

(1) 10 hours is Tues-Thu, 8:30am-6:30pm.
(2) Calculated as being O-week (open Mon-Fri), two 12-week semesters (open Tues-Thurs), seven weeks closed (over the mid-year and summer holidays), and 20 weeks in holidays (open Thurs).
(3) Kettle is boiled 5 times per day open.
(4) Fridge and freezer were measured over a 24-hour period from Tuesday 3pm to Wednesday 3pm.
