Tahini and Miso Dressing

This sauce is great for salads, steamed veggies, as a dip or marinade or to drizzle over rice and even on toast!

Genmai Miso is made from fermented soybeans and brown rice yielding an antioxidant and living enzyme rich paste. Tahini, made from ground sesame seeds, is rich in calcium, iron and protein.

Ingredients: All of which are in stock in the co-op now!

1 heaped tablespoon genmai miso (other types will also work) 2 tablespoons sesame oil 1-2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon (to taste) 3 heaped tablespoons tahini 1tablespoon honey (or other sweetener)

Method

Combine all ingredients in a jar or bowl. Stir or shake vigorously. Add warm water gradually until the consistency is as you prefer it. If you add only enough water for it to combine, you will have a very thick creamy sauce. If you keep adding water you can get it to be more of a salad dressing consistency.
